Ga 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall
not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Ga 5:25 If
we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Paul. He had once been a victim of religious activity and made it his goal in life to stamp out those who believed in Jesus
Christ and were walking in the Spirit. Their liberty was an insult to Saul and his religion which taught him that a man may
be justified by the law. This sect rejected that and taught that man can only be justified by faith in Jesus Christ. This
was an insult to his intellectual genius. He hated it and determined to stamp it out.
His first victim was a man named Stephen. He held Stephen's garments while he was stoned and witnessed Stephen looking
into heaven with his face aglow and praying that God would forgive him for he knew not what he was doing. This seems to be
the first time that He saw the living Christ. He could not forget about that image. On the road to Damascus it finally conquered
him. He believed in Jesus and was set free. He would later write Ro 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered
from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
