From the Desk of Pastor Horsley...
Deuteronomy 32:20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a
very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.
Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just
shall live by his faith.
The one thing that a father wants in his child is trust. He wants the child to believe what he says
and learn to follow him. Our heavenly Father is the same. He wants His children to trust Him. In order to really trust Him
we must know what He Has said. In order to know what He has said we must know His word. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh
by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to
God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
We have gathered today to seek
God's face. He has given us the plan to follow and it works every time. By faith we receive Christ's Righteousness. By faith
we have boldness to enter into the Holy Place. By faith we ask for help in time of need. By faith we claim the promises of
our God. Matthew 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall
not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou
cast into the sea; it shall be done.
