Re 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the
mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the
heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which
are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator
of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
In the Old Testament men were brought to Mount Sanai where they were given the law on two tablets.
Moses did not get off the mountain until the tablets were broken. God wanted to show us that the law cannot save us or keep
us. We are incapable of keeping the law of God, it must be done for us. That is where Jesus Christ comes in. He kept the law
for us and has made us beneficiaries of having kept the law. We live our lives in the arena of Grace where we can enjoy the
benefits of having kept the law. Grace gave us wings so we can fly. That is the beauty of the old song we often sing, "new
heights I'm gaining every day. Let's keep soaring on the winds of grace.
